Materials Program Manager - Oregon Spares

About the role

As a Materials Program Manager focusing on factory spares, you will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and implementing cutting-edge supply chain solutions that drive innovation, quality, and efficiency while contributing to the future of Intel's technology roadmap. This position connects Oregon Factory stakeholders with materials suppliers to ensure availability and cost-competitive solutions for spare parts in support of factory operations.

Responsibilities

• Translate manufacturing, market dynamics, and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics related to bills of materials risk assessment/mitigation, inventory health and optimization, streamlined/reliable supply chain, and total cost to business.
• Deliver an uninterrupted supply of scope-aligned spare parts to the Technology Development and Fab 25 manufacturing factory in Oregon.
• Operationalize procurement methods to manage and optimize inventory, forecasting, and delivery of materials and/or coordination of supplier labor.
• Drive operational response and closure to inventory escalations, inventory risk, and related supply chain impacts.
• Coordinate and monitor the acquisition of inventory in support of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs/projects and ramp readiness for seamless transition to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to manage and execute contractual requirements, perform to KPI metrics, and deliver performance, cost savings, and future operational strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams across project/program management, engineering, supply chain commodity professionals/purchasing, and manufacturing to define customer demands and material requirements while influencing supplier activities.
• Ensure bills of materials integrity, materials availability, cost, and quality goals are set, accurate, and successfully achieved.
• Provide assessments/status to stakeholders at multiple levels, establish contingency and gap closure plans, and closely monitor program indicators.
• Analyze data to run daily supply chain operations and develop solutions for complex processes.
• Drive standardization of indicators, processes, and procedures to optimize efficiency and consistent supply chain inventory solutions.
• Participate in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization.
• Work with cross-organizational teams to drive forward-looking supply chain solutions.
• Manage suppliers to achieve on-time delivery and cycle time performance, resolution of material escalations, BOM cost benchmarking/optimization, Engineering Change Order (ECO) change closure, new site startup, and liability settlements.
• Ensure tight linkages to each business unit's production requirements to enable output maximization while balancing cost and inventory control.

Skills

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or BS degree in supply chain, business, or associated field with 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence tools, data modeling, and transformation.
• 2+ years of experience managing complex supplier relationships and driving operational strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years' experience with SAP procurement workflows or inventory structures.
• Experience working with Vendor Managed Inventory or consigned inventory.
• 1+ years’ experience with inventory management or warehousing.

Pay

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $73,820.00 - $128,560.00 USD. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This role follows Shift 1 (United States of America) and is eligible for Intel’s hybrid work model, allowing employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site in Hillsboro, Oregon, and off-site.
