MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST II
Job Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a Materials Planning Analyst II to help satisfy customer requirements and service metrics through coordination of production plans for Hyperion, Force Lab, and support for the Pieuvre/Octupus projects. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating phase-outs, and supporting material flow across different sites.
Responsibilities
- Review customer requirements and support new product introductions.
- Manage inventory and coordinate phase-out activities for potential products.
- Support material flow by following and establishing MRP and CAP practices.
- Follow inventory policies and plant capacities to manage manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure expected inventory levels of finished products and sub-assemblies are maintained.
- Manage manufacturing resources based on demand, forecasts, and trends to provide management information.
- Release production orders according to customer needs.
- Perform transfers of orders between sites.
- Prepare monthly sales and past due projections.
- Communicate directly with customers to establish agreements, coordinate delivery times, and handle LOBs.
- Comply with internal KPIs, OTD, inventory turns, and sales.
- Host weekly supply-side meetings for assigned value streams.
- Support Force Lab Management with FMR.
- Coordinate the Pieuvre/Octupus project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, HSD or GED required.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain as planner, scheduler, or planner/buyer.
- SAP Production Planning experience highly preferred.
- Understanding of Material Resource Planning systems.
- Good analytical planning and purchasing skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
- Details and results-driven.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Microsoft platform experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Effective written and verbal communication with global partners.
- Self-motivated with high-level initiative and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to embrace change and take on challenging responsibilities.
- APICS certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,700 – 107,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Benefits include a comprehensive package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and voluntary benefits.
