About the role
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
Responsibilities
- Create, consume, and finish all IPWO’s for pumps, panels, frames and general warehouse.
- Run IPWO B/O report and follow up with purchasing on any missing items.
- Consume production orders 1st pull.
- Run production B/O report and follow up with purchasing on any missing items.
- Communicate any missing product on Sharepoint that could potentially make our shipments late to our customers.
- Close production orders.
- Maintain firm planned & released orders.
- Communicate with Materials & Production managers.
- Produce and analyze reports for management team.
- Attend contract review meetings.
- Understand inventory flow process.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Navision experience a plus.
- High school diploma is desired.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, detailed correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write detailed correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to calculate and interpret financial measures such as percentages, margins, ratios and other comparative statistics.
- Must be able to interpret graphs and other visual representations used to present data.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to read and understand various service manuals, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
