Materials Manager - Flexible Pipe System Onshore (FPS)

About the role

As the Materials Manager, you will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. You will participate in discussions about the future of the business, requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions, and develop the year plan for your unit based on the strategic framework for the whole unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage master planning, material processes, and systems; prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
• Ensure operational alignment with the production plan and KPIs.
• Optimize inventory and drive process improvements.
• Conduct frequent interactions at the manager level with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
• Handle complex manufacturing processes, including defining approaches for customization to client needs.
• Lead a medium-sized manufacturing unit with a budget exceeding $5 million.
• Lead the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, master scheduling, production planning, materials planning, and warehouse teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects.
• Established project management skills.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Ability to travel to manufacturing plants up to 25%.
