Materials Manager

About the role

The Materials Manager oversees the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials essential to the company's operations. This role ensures that all materials are sourced efficiently and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement process for raw materials and supplies
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in materials management or supply chain
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
