Materials Manager

Keys Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of policies, procedures, and goals for procuring goods and services.
• Provide management, coaching, and guidance to supervisors, fostering their growth and success.
• Manage purchasing operations, ensuring all materials and supplies meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Maintain balanced inventory levels in alignment with plant guidelines and team goals.
• Ensure the proper selection and application of products and services for global customers.
• Offer assistance in shipping, receiving, and product control to maintain efficient operations.
• Process documentation through internal systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 8 years of experience
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing required
• Experience managing a workforce through lean implementation is a plus
• High mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
• Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
