Materials Management Clerk (CCL)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for Full Time Materials Management Clerk 1 to work in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, and restocks inventory items.
• Checks expiration dates on supplies in inventory and rotates supplies.
• Affords assistance in the unloading and unpacking of inventory items as they are received.
• Notifies appropriate managing staff of any issues, such as overstocking and discrepancies.
• Fills tickets and requisitions, and delivers supplies to appropriate location in a timely manner.
• Affords assurance that supplies are charged appropriately on the day of delivery.
• Prints and places appropriate labels on inventory packages.
• Affords assurance that receiving and order paperwork is accurate and preserved appropriately.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
• Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
