About the role

Materials Management Attendant at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (Distribution department), full‑time day shift located at 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. The role involves storing, processing, collecting, and distributing supplies and equipment; ensuring adequate supply levels; receiving, keying, and promptly distributing supplies; reviewing and maintaining par levels; conducting physical inventories of Point of Use (POU) areas; and delivering/collecting Materials Management products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, key, and promptly distribute all supplies within the facility.
• Review and maintain par levels for storeroom safety stock and other stocking locations.
• Conduct physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) areas according to the defined schedule.
• Deliver and collect Materials Management products to and from the hospital.
• Ensure adequate supply levels in all areas of the hospital.

Requirements

• High School graduate or G.E.D equivalent
• Successful completion of all orientation programs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years healthcare experience preferred

Skills

• Good communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

Pay

Pay Range: $21.04 - $22.15 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on factors such as educational background, skills, and professional experience (pay transparency note for New Jersey).
