Materials Management Associate I - Internal Logistics Driver

About the role

Location: 9393 Waples Street Suite 110, San Diego, CA 92121. The Materials Management Associate I - Internal Logistics Driver supports inventory movement and material support for PCI Pharma Services departments, handling receipt, shipment, and movement of non‑GMP material, raw materials, samples, drug substance, and final product.

Responsibilities

• Train on GMP processes in materials management.
• Train on required SOPs and execute training curriculum.
• Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates.
• Perform materials management functions: receiving, inventory control, shipping, and internal logistics.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance on a full‑time basis.
• Embody PCI Pharma Services’ cultural values and align daily actions with department and company goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s in Science preferred.
• Zero to two (0‑2) years of material management experience; experience in a cGMP environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; extensive experience with ERP systems and planning tools preferred.
• Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines or as a team member.
• Familiarity with quality standards, supplier management policies, and cGMP standards.
• Proven track record of problem solving and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical demands: constant sitting and reaching for computer use; constant standing up to 4 hours; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds; constant close and distant vision with hand‑eye coordination; frequent communication with others.

Pay

$17.75 – $19.40 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus (final offer based on experience, education, credentials, geography, and expertise).
