About the role

The Material Management Associate I supports the processes associated with inventory movement and material support to other PCI Pharma Services departments. This position requires a basic understanding of the receipt, shipment, or movement of Non-GMP material, Raw Materials, Samples, Drug Substance, and Final Product. Employees will follow PCI Pharma Service’s SOPs for raw material movement, raw material inventory, material transfer, and CSM inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Train on GMP processes in materials management.
  • Train on required SOPs and execute training curriculum.
  • Exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company.
  • Perform various materials management functions such as receiving, inventory control, shipping, and internal logistics.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
  • Embody PCI Pharma Service’s cultural values and align daily actions with department and company goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s in Science preferred.
  • Zero to two (0-2) years of material management experience.
  • Experience in a cGMP environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work independently within prescribed guidelines or as a team member.
  • Familiarity with quality standards, supplier management policies, and cGMP standards.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems and planning tools preferred.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands

  • Constantly required to sit and reach to use computers and other office equipment.
  • Constantly stand for extended periods of time, up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Constantly required to view objects at close and distant ranges with hand and eye coordination.
  • Frequently required to communicate with others.

Pay

The hiring rate for this position is $17.75 - $19.40 per hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
