Materials I

About the role

Provides material support to the facility including receiving, material preparation, delivery of parts throughout operations, tool crib customer service, and shipping. Maintains accurate transactions on the mainframe and tool crib systems.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage or production areas in response to signals, standard work, and various communications.
• Load and unload materials on and off trucks using manual and motorized lift trucks.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers.
• Ensure inventory is protected and tracked per company procedures.
• Record and maintain accuracy of inventory used and/or moved.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Meet all requirements of Handling Input/Output of Inventory (S1) or be willing to complete within the first 6 months of holding the position.
• Ability to lift materials, finished goods, packed items, etc., manually up to 35 lbs.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States (evidence of citizenship or immigration status required).
