About the role
Provides hospital and affiliated facilities with materials to the designated area in an expedient manner and maintains accountability of supplies distributed and services performed. Performs inventory checks to ensure adequate supply distribution management. Ensures the proper handling of radioactive material, Pharmacy drugs, and other sensitive commodities to their departments, inclusive of forwarding MSDS documents.
Responsibilities
- Inventory, replenish, and maintain supply, exchange, and linen carts to established par levels while ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Receive, verify, organize, and distribute incoming materials, reporting discrepancies and prioritizing urgent or time-sensitive shipments.
- Deliver supplies, medical equipment, mail, and departmental requests promptly, including ASAP and STAT orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, complete required documentation, and utilize inventory tracking systems and wireless technology.
- Handle sensitive materials, including pharmacy items, medical gases, human tissue, radioactive materials, and recalls, following established procedures.
- Perform physical inventory counts, return overstock items, and maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by supporting hospital departments, responding to supply requests, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries.

- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Familiarity and ability to use ERP technology and Microsoft applications effectively
