Primary Duties
- Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
- Receive, quantify, and store incoming material with warehouse equipment from various delivery sources
- Maintain inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
- Document orders, materials, and any stock movements
- Break down, clean, organize, and prep raw material ready for manufacturing in accordance with procedure and production requirements
- Perform real time daily replenishment of material in a “Just in Time” manner to support internal customers
- Process all deliveries to ensure material transactions occur for all departmental activities
- Aid in the identification and movement of non-conforming material
- Follow all general OSHA Safety Guidelines for warehouses
- Perform related transactions, bin maintenance, and maintain shelving for the stocking of material
Qualifications, Preferred Education, Training & Experience
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- No previous experience required, some experience preferred
- Materials handling experience within the medical device industry, including working with the FD regarding control of materials for instruments and chemistry, preferred
- Forklift cerficiation preferred

Working Conditions And Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like
- Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day
- Ability to operate heavy machinery
- Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
- Must be able to work in warehouse conditions with long periods of standing, climbing, bending, walking, and reaching in wide temperature ranges
- High level of repetitive motion
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment
- Overtime may be required
- The work is fast paced and must be able to work under pressure
Pay
The pay for this role starts at $18.00 an hour. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMérieux’s bonus program.
