About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring that customer supplies are accurately and efficiently processed and delivered to satisfactorily meet the customer need in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, establishing, and managing assigned PAR locations; includes counting, monitoring, and adjusting PAR levels and reorder information.
  • Maintain constant and effective communication with assigned units to understand supply needs based on current and future patient population.
  • Effectively use supply information systems technology to proactively identify potential problems in the PAR locations.
  • Receiving, stocking, picking, and delivering supplies.
  • Serving as the department’s Customer Service representative.
  • Providing and/or assisting with the training of coworkers and volunteers.
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and leadership at all times.
  • Supporting and participating in efforts to successfully implement supply chain changes to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Knowing and following all Baptist Health and government policies and regulations.
  • Cross-training on all departmental duties; providing needed back-up coverage.
  • Completing special projects and updated assignments as needed.

Schedule

9:30 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend 24-hour call.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain preferred; relevant healthcare experience preferred.
  • Willingness to attend needed education and training required to successfully fulfill job duties.
  • Ability to pass required system competency tests.

This job is authorized for 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
