About the role
The Materials Handler is responsible for managing the storage and distribution of materials within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity.
- Store materials in designated areas according to safety and organization guidelines.
- Distribute materials to production teams as needed.
- Ensure all materials are accounted for and properly labeled.
- Perform routine maintenance on storage equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of basic inventory management systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good physical condition.
