Job Description And Duties
Individuals who are eligible for Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position (s). Under the supervision of The Prison Canteen Manager II, the Materials and Stores Supervisor II assists with prison canteen operations.
- Researching and ordering merchandise
- Working with vendors
- Maintaining inventory and purchasing records
- Updating price lists
- Overseeing the proper storage and delivery of merchandise
- Training and supervising staff and incarcerated workers
- Maintaining incarcerated worker timekeeping records
- Preparing performance reports
- Ensuring warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently
- Providing coverage in the canteens and overseeing merchandise sales
- Performing loading and unloading duties using warehouse equipment as needed
