About the role
- Work closely with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and maintain production schedules.
- Utilize expertise to identify and address product quality or safety issues.
- Lead productivity efforts to improve efficiencies, focusing on product yield and waste reduction.
- Create, update, and publish product manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Partner with material coordinators and production leadership to ensure materials resourcing and prevent production interruptions.
- Drive contingency actions by providing technical leadership and training to resolve customer and production-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, or a relevant field of study with 0-3 years of working knowledge.
- Powder Metallurgy experience and/or interest highly preferred.
- Plant Process knowledge or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Previous internship experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to problem-solve through analytical processes and effective time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. person under relevant export control regulations (EAR, ITAR).
