Materials and Manufacturing Planning Analyst

Job Description Vertiv Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Materials Analyst. This role is responsible for managing the materials planning and inventory control processes of a company, ensuring the availability of the right materials at the right time to meet production needs. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Materials Analyst must be able to identify and resolve potential issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met. Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules and material requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materialsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential supply chain issuesManage inventory levels to ensure optimal levels are maintained while minimizing excess inventoryCollaborate with suppliers to manage material orders, delivery schedules, and quality requirementsMonitor production schedules and adjust material orders to ensure on-time delivery and minimize production disruptionsDevelop and maintain key performance metrics to evaluate and improve materials planning processesContinuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costsDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are metAnalyze data to identify trends and patterns that can inform inventory and materials planning decisions Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field Requirements At least 3 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain managementStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential issues and develop solutionsExperience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel About Us The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principles & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
