Materials Analyst
Essential Functions of the Job
Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and acquisition of materials. Optimize freight and inventories. Implement, production scheduling, logistics, and inventory control processes that guarantee the availability of materials for uninterrupted production flow according to delivery schedules, while maintaining minimal inventories. Select, motivate, train, and ensure the development of a competent department and materials handling staff.
Anticipate and resolve problems with short-term and permanent corrective actions. Assist with warehouse layout and execution. Daily inspections to verify materials are stored in the correct location. Assist with the management of the most economical inbound/outbound transportation routes, seeking opportunities to combine shipments, milk runs, and warehouse consolidation and distribution.

Required Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree
Area of Study: Supply Chain, Business Admin, Finance or similar.
Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)
- 1 - 3 Minimum Years of Experience.
- Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience in ERP and MRP system.

- Stationary Position (Sitting or Standing): Frequently.
- Movement (Walking): Frequently.
- Carry Weight (Lifting up to 10 lbs): Occasionally.
