About the role

The Supervisor Materials Management supervises the daily ordering, pulling, receiving, delivering, and replenishment of supplies to meet department and patient needs. This role oversees inventory data accuracy, tracks expiration dates, and ensures inventory remains up-to-date and usable.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Manages inventorying, reordering, pulling, restocking, rotating inventory, and checking expiration dates to meet departmental needs.
• Inspects working and storage areas to ensure clean and orderly conditions.
• Approves removal of non-functional equipment and supplies from service and reports problems to the proper department(s) for corrective action.
• Reviews data entry of inventory, making changes or drafting corresponding paperwork as necessary.
• Ensures supply deliveries are complete, accurate, and in acceptable condition.
• Investigates and resolves back orders, delivery issues, and product returns.
• Reviews daily work, incorporates training of assigned staff, and performs monthly variance explanation.
• Maintains or responds to systems/databases, including patient charge capture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in healthcare materials management or other related supply chain field
• Valid Driver’s License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) approved by Risk Management)
