Material Stocker, 2nd Shift

Job Summary

A Material Stocker uses industrial equipment in handling and transferring material.

Essential Functions

• Accurately interpret pallet paperwork and labels
• Maintain familiarity with plant layout and stock locations
• Safely use a pallet jack in performing various tasks
• Enter plant receipt reports into computerized database
• Receive and stock materials in correct locations
• ID all cabinet parts, components, and stock locations
• Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances; Ability to identify and process damaged or flawed material in lieu of stocking it; Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
• Required Education And Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Required Physical Ability: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing; Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
