What You'll Do

  • Develop, solve, and review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance.
  • Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related specialisms to design challenging, rigorous problem sets.
  • Evaluate AI-generated solutions for scientific accuracy, depth, and reasoning quality.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model performance.
  • Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables.
  • Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule.

Who You Are

  • Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related discipline.
  • Deep expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent research areas.
  • Comfortable coding in Python or MATLAB — research or project experience counts.
  • Naturally detail-oriented with strong scientific communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand.
  • No prior AI or machine learning experience required — full training support provided.
  • Nice to have:
    • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems.
    • Background in applied materials research, industry R&D, or academic publishing.
    • Familiarity with AI tools or technical evaluation workflows.
