About the role
Sewer Equipment provides the highest quality and most innovative sewer cleaning products for the municipal and contractor market. The Material Planner-Jetter facilitates the flow of parts into the Jetter and Electrical Departments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze usage to set up ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on new parts
- Analyze history and usage to maintain correct ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on current parts
- Scan buy cards into the Kanban database for Jetter and Electrical Departments
- Review card scans in database and approve or reject based on history and need
- Work with production floor in expediting needed parts
- Communicate with purchasing the need for parts expediting
- Breakdown of work order and ordering of work order specific parts
- Maintain work order packet for upcoming units and completed units
- Creation of unit VIN tags
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong communication skills are required to interact with internal customers
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and follow through on order completion
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in Power BI, Smartsheet, Sharepoint helpful
Qualifications
- Manufacturing Experience Preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times a day
Schedule
Permanent Full-Time Role
Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
