About the role
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring that materials are available on time and in the right quantities to support production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) systems to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage vendor relationships.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
- Prepare and analyze reports to provide insights into material usage and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of MRP systems and supply chain management principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
