MATERIAL PICKER
Job Summary
Responsible for picking products requested by production, delivering orders to the warehouse delivery platform, using racking systems and forklifts, operating RF scanners, confirming order accuracy, and reporting issues.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with common material handling equipment like forklift and pallet jack.
- Experience with RF handheld scanners preferred.
- Mark containers and label them with picked order information.
- Isolate and report damaged items to receiving lead or supervisor.
- Consolidate boxes and bins of the same item.
- Pick quantities specified, count or weigh as necessary.
- Report bin accuracy issues to receiving supervisor.
- Pick at least 8-10 orders daily.
- Follow OPM picker procedures.
- Comply with 6’s Procedure (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Move completed orders to designated areas.
- Understand workplace hazards and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
- Ability to be cross-trained.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Team-oriented work ethic.
- Reliable and strong work ethic.
- Overtime may be required.

The expected base salary for this position is estimated. Exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, budget, and location. Additional compensation includes participation in a competitive bonus program and the company's profit-sharing program.
