About the role
The role of Material Manager-LP Material Planner involves overseeing the procurement and inventory management of materials within a manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, managing stock levels, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement process for raw materials and components
- Manage inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing waste
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material management or supply chain operations
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
- Understanding of ISO standards and certifications
