About the role
Slate is seeking a Material / Inventory Analyst to oversee the planning, purchasing, and inventory of service parts and accessories. This role involves collaborating with the SI&OP team, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the SI&OP team to understand and meet the needs of the portfolio of parts.
- Place and track purchase orders through the ERP system.
- Work with suppliers to optimize lead times, minimum order quantities, and other purchase data.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to expedite and de-expedite orders.
- Devise and implement parts-level strategies to drive efficient inventory control.
- Own supplier relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Material Management, Material Analytics, Operations, or equivalent (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management, preferably in Material Management.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of material management processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and project management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or data analysis tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable in start-up environments and willing to roll up sleeves to contribute.
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with external partners and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel (up to 10%) and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $85,431 to $128,146 USD annually. Additional compensation and benefits include a discretionary annual incentive program and the opportunity to participate in the equity program.
