Material Handling Team Member

Responsibilities

Responsible for assigned manufacturing tasks which includes using equipment or tools to weld and assemble parts according to customer specifications. Responsible for safety, quality of work, production and material flow.

• Follow all standard work procedures.
• Meet production requirements and complete all production sheets.
• Stop, call, & wait for all abnormal conditions.
• Follow all safety procedures and communicate issues with TL/GL.
• Perform required quality checks.
• Participate in a manufacturing system emphasizing teamwork, safety training and discipline.
• Utilize TPS techniques to standardize process/methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste and standardize the new process/methods.
• Maintain daily 5S in the work area and equipment.
• Work well with other team members.
• Understand and work by the TB Way philosophy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 1-3 years experience in manufacturing/shipping and receiving.

Skills

• Language Skills: English, both written and oral required
• Computer/Software: Basic computer skills

Schedule

Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime.
