Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on operations, safety, and equipment use.
  • Lead daily huddles to review schedules, safety, and workflow.
  • Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation to maintain 98% inventory accuracy.
  • Track expiration-sensitive materials and communicate usage priorities.
  • Ensure pick lists are completed accurately and materials are loaded/unloaded safely.
  • Communicate with construction teams to coordinate material needs.
  • Audit receiving procedures and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
  • Operate and oversee forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure the warehouse and facility remain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant.
  • Coordinate repairs and report maintenance needs to the Fleet & Equipment team.
  • Enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical training, certifications, or college degree (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience (required).
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (required).
  • Experience handling roofing and HVAC materials (required).
  • Previous construction industry experience (preferred).
  • Forklift certification (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and agility tests, and background check.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain high accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
