Material Handling Equipment Technician

About The Role

You are a self-starter who can work independently and with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting equipment problems and performing immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment. Ensuring the safety of our people and workplace, you make sure to keep up-time of equipment per the System Level Equipment (SLE).

What You Get To Do Everyday

• Work with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Microsoft Suite, Google Suite.
• Identify and troubleshoot material handling equipment that impacts facility product flow.
• Develop positive cross-functional internal and external relationships with a focus on delivering targeted results that improve the overall occupancy experience, operating efficiency, and site reliability.
• Conduct routine repairs/tasks with tools and equipment.
• Perform associated tasks on 3-phase electrical systems under 600 volts, critical preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, drive unit and component rebuilds.
• PLC/controls experience is a plus.

What You Bring To The Role

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of MHE and automation in a distribution environment.
• Ability to work, plan, and prioritize independently and in a cross-functional team.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills, including exercising good judgment.
• Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management.
• Learn and apply working knowledge of related work area processes and procedures.
• Absolutely available to work weekends.
