Equipment Technician
About the role
The Equipment Technician at TSMC Arizona is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and reliability, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on 300mm semiconductor equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks post PM.
- Respond to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review and analyze SPC charts for process quality.
- Conduct defect troubleshooting and sustain/improve spare parts management.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes and learning initiatives.
- Work safely and responsibly, adhering to environmental, health, safety & security requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent with relevant machine maintenance experience.
- Ability to operate computer and system interface programs.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
- Willingness to work on a compressed work week schedule and rotating shifts.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position operates 24/7/365 and shifts are assigned based on business needs. Typical shift is 12 hours long, alternating between three and four days every other week, including breaks.
Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Selected candidates may be required to participate in ERT duties, which include responding to F21 incidents such as medical emergencies, chemical spills, fire response, or disruptions to business operations. Participation is mandatory and additional compensation will be provided for these critical responsibilities.
Training
Training will be provided at the TSMC Arizona facility in Phoenix, AZ.
Travel
There is no travel required for this position.
