Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hanger positions).
  • Comply with environmental health/safety policies/procedures.
  • Participate in 5-S activities.
  • Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Receive/visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only).
  • Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules.
  • May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only).
  • Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized/manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
  • Assist in loading/unloading shipments.
  • Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders.
  • Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (e.g., export compliance, hazmat shipping, parts protections, and A/C schedule).
  • Proper handling of Customer Owned Property (Green tag units – Commercial only).

Requirements

  • Typically a minimum of three (3) years of experience in one of the following: Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving & Tool Crib.
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing, service orders/methods.
  • Basic knowledge of AOG procedures.
  • Trained in Hazardous Materials Requirements.
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of SAP (or Syteline for Commercial).
  • Forklift Qualified.
