About the role
As a Warehouse Material Handler at Greenworks—a rapidly growing global manufacturer of residential and commercial products—you will unload product deliveries, stage products based on customer orders, and assist with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. The role involves working near moving mechanical apparatus, exposure to vibration, moderate to high noise levels, congested and high-traffic areas, slippery floors, and working alongside forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. Walking and working occur on concrete flooring and may include high or precarious places.
Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck and pallet jack in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain established inventory levels on store shelves by moving stock in receiving and delivering items to the sales floor
- Assist truck drivers making deliveries, including checking in and counting merchandise received and directing it to the proper location
- Ensure products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available
- Separate merchandise for products that require in-store labeling, including weighing and properly labeling stock before storage or shipment
- Participate in periodic inventory audits
- Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguishers
- Record all product, equipment, and warehouse damage
- Maintain cleanliness of aisles by removing debris from shelves
- Adhere to and support all company policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensure the facility is well maintained and safe for staff and customers by following safety policies and practices
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Requirements
- At least one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment; prior stocking experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
- Forklift/pallet jack certification and proven ability to operate such equipment safely and responsibly (certification a plus)
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring sponsorship

Physical Requirements
- Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; full range of motion
- Wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment according to the function being performed
