About the role

Warehouse Forklift Operator positions at Ryder offer weekly pay and excellent benefits in a clean, organized, and well-run facility. Products handled include medical supplies. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles support distribution across the US.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour when assigned to second shift
$0.75 pay increase after 6 months of employment

Schedule

2nd Shift Wednesday – Saturday
4:00 pm – 4:00 am
Half day on Wednesday

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
  • Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
  • Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse work environment
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
  • Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with good attendance
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates a high level of initiative
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy under pressure
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Ability to work using health and safety methods
  • Available to work flexible schedules across various shifts
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
