Material Handler (Warehouse)

About the role

This position involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages, documents, heavyweight freight, hazardous goods, and ULDs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for package and freight movement, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assist with pallet buildup and breakdown of heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison with ULD repair vendors when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. using equipment or help.
• Capability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver packages in various conditions, including enclosed spaces and weather environments.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as required.
• Effective communication skills in a noisy environment and ability to complete basic and recurring training.
• Valid driver’s license and successful passing of a drug test are required.
