About the role
The Material Handler position is located at the FlexRig Machinery Center in Tulsa, OK. This is a contract position with a minimum duration of 3 to 6 months, with potential for conversion to full-time hire.
Responsibilities
- Review packing slips against purchase orders and material delivered for accuracy and complete receipt transactions
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Ensure inventory accuracy regularly by completing cycle counts when issuing material
- Identify and work to resolve discrepancies in inventory
- Complete transactions in the inventory system for receipts, transfers, and adjustments
- Responsible for material movement throughout the facility
- Absorb frequent contact with office, shop, field operations, and engineering to give and receive information
- Absorb frequent contact with suppliers and trucking companies

Requirements
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Previous material handling and/or receiving experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of inventory/warehousing practices and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of purchasing, warehousing, and distributing material
- Good PC skills: Excel, Word, etc.
- Able to learn inventory system(s)
- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Able to operate forklift, aerial work platforms, and other material handling equipment
Qualifications
