Material Handler/Transportation Clerk $1500 SIGN ON BONUS

Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM. Job site: Wilmington, IL. Pay: $21.25/hr.

About the role

Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical and clerical tasks to receive, inspect, store, and ship material. Duties include receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports. Receives general direction on new assignments and instructions on required tasks and expected results.

Responsibilities

• Interface with carriers and customer service to address questions, concerns, and needs
• Act as backup for Outbound Transportation Clerk and UPS clerk as needed
• Answer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
• Gather information and prepare the daily truck load report
• Assist with order processing
• Prepare government orders, including printing appropriate tire labels and government forms
• Run the appropriate closing reports daily
• Maintain inventory levels of all office supplies
• Serve as a backup for daily productivity reports

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong and reliable work history
