Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, safety-conscious Material Handler to join our fast-paced team. If you are detail-oriented and want to build a career in a growing manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

  • Operate a power-driven forklift to load, unload, store and deliver aluminum coils, in-process supplies, materials and finished products (including up to 30,000 lb. capacity machinery as required).
  • Service production/shipping areas with materials and supplies as needed.
  • Unload materials from trucks and load materials into trucks for shipment to the customer.
  • Store materials by type and size in assigned storage area.
  • Move coils/supplies for storage in a manner prescribed by safety rules.
  • Empty gondolas as needed of rubbish and scrap.
  • Maintain inventory and housekeeping.
  • Transport drums of waste oils and chemicals to proper storage areas and label appropriately.

Position Overview

Job Requirements

  • Must have an excellent safety record and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of computer systems.

This position requires more than just driving; it is highly active, detail-oriented, and team focused role.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The team member frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear.
  • The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
