About the role

At MacLean Power Systems (MPS), a leading manufacturer of mission-critical and engineered components for the electric utility, telecommunications, and civil markets, we are seeking a Material Handler II to join our team in Bessemer, AL.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment like a pro
• Pulling, staging, and prepping materials for production and shipping
• Keeping everything labeled, organized, and right where it belongs
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
• Tracking inventory and spotting anything that doesn’t look right
• Loading and unloading trucks to keep things moving
• Supporting deliveries and keeping schedules on track

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience
• Valid driver’s license + forklift certification
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout your shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset
