About the role
At MacLean Power Systems (MPS), a leading manufacturer of mission-critical and engineered components for the electric utility, telecommunications, and civil markets, we are seeking a Material Handler II to join our team in Bessemer, AL.
Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment like a pro
- Pulling, staging, and prepping materials for production and shipping
- Keeping everything labeled, organized, and right where it belongs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
- Tracking inventory and spotting anything that doesn’t look right
- Loading and unloading trucks to keep things moving
- Supporting deliveries and keeping schedules on track
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid driver’s license + forklift certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset

Second Shift (Sunday-Thursday 7:00pm-5:30am)
