About the role
The Material Handler – PCA supports production operations by building and delivering weld and assembly kits to production lines according to the daily build schedule. This role also handles receiving and stocking incoming parts in the Parts Control Area, maintaining inventory accuracy, and operating material handling equipment like forklifts and hoists.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver weld and assembly kits per the daily production schedule.
- Receive incoming parts and stock them in designated racking in a timely and organized manner.
- Accurately record part and kit movements in the ERP system.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain correct part identification through use of a labeling system.
- Observe and report faulty equipment operation to supervisors.
- Follow all established safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in and follow proper ergonomic practices related to material handling.
- Keep assigned work area clean and organized.
- Provide support in other departments or areas as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Experience in inventory management preferred.
- General computing skills required.
- Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching required throughout the shift.
- Regular exposure to repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders.
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmet, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
Pay and Schedule
$27.90 per hour
Hours: 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday, Scheduled Fridays during busy season
