Material Handler Packer (Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:55AM - 6:00PM)

About the role

As a Material Handler at our Columbus, NE plant, you will perform various tasks in support of production operations. You will apply acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks, working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of multiple factors. You will exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action and build productive internal and external working relationships. This role requires learning and following standardized work, and promoting a safe, quality-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in support of production operations.

• Work on problems of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data to determine appropriate action.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn an ERP system.
• Ability to read and write work instructions, perform basic math, and read a ruler to measure fractions of an inch.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus (training will be provided if needed).
• Commitment to a high standard of safety.

Schedule

Weekend Day Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with a 15% weekend shift differential).

Pay

The expected salary range for this in-person position is $15.84 – $26.40 per hour, based on region, experience, and other job-related factors. Actual compensation may vary depending on location.
