Responsibilities
- Maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary.
- Moves control settings to make necessary adjustments on equipment units affecting speeds of Packaging/Blending equipment.
- Makes material movements using an industrial powered truck.
- Draws samples of products in order to ensure quality is met.
- Interpret proper quality of packaging material per customer specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including overtime, weekends, holidays, and short notice call-ins
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach overhead
- Ability to wear required PPE (personal Protective Equipment – eyewear, acid suit, breathing air, etc.)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- 3 years Industrial Experience
- Prior material handling or warehouse experience
Skills
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment
- Basic maintenance skills
- Quality control and monitoring
- Sample drawing and interpretation
