Material Handler (Night Shift)

About the role

Accredo Packaging is seeking a qualified Material Handler to work in Sugar Land, TX, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The Material Handler is responsible for processing materials requests in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that production has the materials needed to fulfill customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable
• Processes material requests/returns
• Scans movements
• Pulls/stores material by operating a narrow aisle truck (swing reach/turret stock picker)
• Transports material by operating a forklift
• Conducts inventory
• Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with web-based software and ERP systems required
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs

Pay

Hourly Rate: $17.00 an hour, with a $2.00 shift differential for night shifts
