Material Handler Night Shift 6:45PM to 7AM 2/2/3

Hours: 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating 2/2/3 schedule. Pay rate: $21.50–$24.00 per hour with a 10% shift premium. Eligible for a $2,100 sign-on bonus: $700 after 90 days, $700 after 6 months, and $700 after 1 year of employment.

About the role

The Material Handler, under the direction of the Production Shift Supervisor, will stage and move raw materials and finished products within the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to accident-free operations and compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Inspect forklift daily, change propane tanks as needed, and safely operate forklift.
• Ensure extrusion operators and production assistants obtain needed supplies and materials in a timely manner (e.g., capping, dunnage boards, boxes, scrap bins).
• Assist in wrapping and banding finished material and moving it to storage area as needed.
• Scan completed material rack before transporting to designated storage area.
• Assist in loading regrind into silos or bags as directed.
• Help operate and maintain grinders as requested.
• Provide production support in staging bins, skids, and raw materials.
• Assist in recycling cardboard and other waste products.
• Support the Receiving Department in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Observe and document silo readings to ensure appropriate material availability for daily production.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision or management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech’s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program.
• Forklift certification.
• Self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate business needs.

Pay

$21.50–$24.00 per hour with a 10% shift premium. Eligible for a $2,100 sign-on bonus paid in installments: $700 after 90 days, $700 after 6 months, and $700 after 1 year of employment.
