Material Handler/Logistics Clerk (Day Shift)

Warehouse Services, Inc. (WSI) is seeking a dependable and organized Logistics Clerk to join our team at the Woodruff Distribution Center.

About the role

Full-time position with benefits, including a $1,500 sign-on bonus and weekly pay at a rate of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers and customer service to address questions, concerns, and operational needs
• Serve as a backup for other transportation clerks as needed
• Answer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
• Receive, inspect, store, and prepare materials for shipment
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Assist with material distribution and inventory control

Requirements

• Stable work history
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs
• Strong clerical and data-entry skills
• Ability to consistently lift up to 55 lbs.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
