Material Handler III - Evening - Loading Dock

About the role

A Material Handler at Marvin plays a crucial role in loading trucks that ship premium windows to customers. This position ensures trucks are shipped complete and on time while continuously improving productivity, effectiveness, quality, and safety. The role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload trucks properly
• Work with computers, the ICIM program, and scanners
• Read and understand customer orders and shipping labels
• Check for quality accuracy based on quality guidelines
• Use essential measuring equipment
• Operate lift equipment and obtain required licensure
• Coordinate and transport inventory as needed
• Effectively collaborate with others
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Dependable attendance, with potential for overtime to meet delivery schedules
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Standing and/or walking for 8–10 hours a day
• Performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
• Working at an established production pace, including pushing and/or pulling materials up to 150 pounds
• Lifting up to 75 pounds and moving product on trailer floors ranging from 50–400 pounds (team lifting may be required for heavier items)
• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning
