About the role

The Cold Chain Material Handler at our Memphis distribution center plays a critical role in ensuring life-saving products reach hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. Our facility operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, as patient needs cannot wait. This position involves productively and accurately executing fulfillment functions for order processing, including picking, packing, manifesting, and staging finished shipments in temperature-controlled environments. Cold chain storage is essential because these products are highly sensitive to temperature fluctuations and can become ineffective if exposed to temperatures outside their required range.

  • Ambient Storage: 72°F
  • Cold Chain Fridge: 42°F
  • Cold Chain Freezer: -20°F

Schedule

  • 1st Shift: Monday 6:00 AM start (12-hour shift), Tuesday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (overtime as needed)
  • 2nd Shift: Monday 10:00 AM start (12-hour shift), Tuesday–Thursday 12:00 PM–10:40 PM (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Pick up all ticket orders using an RF Scan device
  • Comply with all company-provided Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate a scanning device and closely monitor stock control systems
  • Process assigned orders and pack them according to work instructions for each client
  • Ensure all orders are picked and managed accurately through digital scanners and our inventory system
  • Adhere to all manufacturing requirements, including Current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Focus on safety at all times and comply with all safety requirements
  • Follow all formal SOPs controlling the order fulfillment process in temperature-controlled areas
  • Meet all shift requirements (timeliness, uniform, etc.)

Pay

Starting pay: $17.75 per hour.

Uniform Requirements

Mandated uniform includes khaki-colored pants, close-toed shoes, and a business casual shirt. Leggings, yoga pants, or any form-fitting stretch pants are not permitted. Shoes must be sturdy, provide full coverage, and ensure no skin or socks are visible. After a 60-day probationary period, employees receive an allotment for customized EVERSANA uniforms.

Requirements

  • Work experience in a fast-paced distribution warehouse environment or stock room strongly preferred
  • Previous work in picking/packing, sorting, loading/unloading, scanning, quality inspection, or other warehouse functions is beneficial
  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading, addition, and subtraction skills for managing order-specific documentation (a calculator may be used)
  • Ability to follow instructions without deviation
  • Ability to work the required hours (expect 40 hours/week), including overtime as needed

  • Warehouse environment requiring walking or standing for at least 80% of the shift
