Material Handler II - Weekend Day Shift
About the role
Join us at GXO, a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world. As a Material Handler II, you'll play a crucial role in supporting operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
- Construct packaging boxes and pick merchandise
- Verify orders, label products, and utilize a handheld scanner
Requirements
- 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a material handler
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
Skills
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
- The ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
- The ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
- The ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
- The ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
