About the role

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is a national distributor of quality maintenance products serving the fleet maintenance industry since 1958. This full-time position of 40 hours per week involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. The position offers 18 days of paid time off during the first year, along with day one benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additionally, six paid holidays are provided, and the company contributes 6% to a 401K plan with immediate vesting.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately picking orders and counting using powered industrial equipment
• Checking and boxing of picked product
• Packaging inbound material using package labeling system and printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical stapler, and shrink wrapping
• Documenting packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry
• Maintaining stock of packaging supplies at packaging stations
• Picking orders using safe operation of powered industrial equipment, label printers, radio frequency scanners, and keyboard data entry
• Performing cart put away using powered industrial equipment
• Restocking and picking using powered industrial equipment
• Assisting with inventory counting

Requirements

• A High School diploma/GED equivalent
• One (1) year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday in a warehouse environment

Pay

The anticipated rate of pay for this position is $18.00 – 19.75 per hour. The pay range provided above is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.
